After she returned, the news that, being of age, she could no longer be operated on there was devastating. She searched for years for a hospital to help her, and in December 2023, she was admitted to the Foișorul de Foc Hospital in Bucharest. Florina lives every day with pain that paralyzes her hands and feet and prevents her from having a normal life. Every moment of waiting means a worsening of the scoliosis and an increasing risk to her life, as the internal organs are in danger of being perforated. "I'm desperate and I don't know what to do anymore. Scoliosis destroys my life, and time passes without me finding a solution. I lived with the hope that I would be able to have surgery, but every time I thought I was getting closer to that moment, everything fell apart. The pain is getting worse and bigger, I can't sleep, I can't stand up without feeling my body give in. Every day is a torment.
